About
Richard Melman,

Channel Director – The History Channel, The History Channel HD, The Biography Channel, Crime & Investigation Network and Military History.

“We set Miriam and Sienna Productions a pretty simple task – just make us exclusive biographies on three of the worlds leading dance, music and film stars, make them original and different, film in the UK, Ireland and America, fill them with great clips and music and, by the way, the budget is tiny.

How Miriam and Maureen Goldthorpe, the producer, did it I don't know, but they did and the shows were great and amongst the highest raters on The Biography Channel last year. In short, Miriam is a talented, creative director and minor miracle worker.”

Maureen Goldthorpe,

Managing Director – Sienna Productions.

“Miriam is that rare breed of Producer/Director who grasps a situation really quickly and just runs with it, without too much fuss and bother. She's an excellent writer (which, let’s face it, is always half the battle in putting any show together) and a fast worker in the edit suite.

She is a safe pair of hands, extremely competent, imaginative and, most importantly, a great team player...she’s also great fun to have around. And that in television is very important...”
